About Concept Therapy

Concept Therapy was established in 2000 to provide evidence-based and client-centered care to all clients exclusively for hand, upper extremity and neck problems.
Our certified and experienced therapists work as part of a collaborative team consisting of physicians, the client, and employer while providing the client with the most up-to-date researched intervention strategies and available equipment.

Sharon (Hsiao-Siu) Chang,
Location: Lynnwood & Mill Creek

Sharon is the therapy director of Concept Therapy. She graduated from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo with a master degree in Occupational Therapy in 1992.
She worked in Singapore National University Hospital for 4 years and was the chief of the OT department in the hand center. She contributed to hand therapy protocol in Singapore and participated in published research with the university professors and surgeons.
Sharon then returned to Seattle in 1999 with her family and became a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). She is specialized in myofascial trigger point release, pain neutralization, and muscle energy techniques, for people with post-surgical, trauma, repetitive strain injuries, TOS, cervical, and shoulder chronic pain syndrome.
Sharon sees her patients as a whole with a holistic approach, helping to improve patient’s life, work, and leisure activities. She always focus on patient’s affordability and provide maximum benefit of service to her clients. She is dedicated in helping patients with a variety of injuries to return back to their daily activities.
Sharon enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, reading, and singing in the choir.
Tracy Gramer,
Location: Mill Creek
Tracy is a 1988 graduate of the occupational therapy program at Colorado State University. She earned her hand therapy certification in 1996 and has enjoyed a long career in hand therapy. Having worked in different clinics in California, Missouri, and Canada, she has enjoyed settling into the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two children.
Clinically she has experience in various post-operative and conditions including replants, skin grafting, flexor/extensor tendon repairs, fractures, and crush injuries. Since joining Concept Occupational and Hand Therapy in 2007, Tracy has begun working with overuse injuries, nerve compression pathology and thoracic outlet syndrome. She completed her certification in ergonomic assessment to provide her patients with a more thorough treatment plan. She enjoys treating the entire upper quarter to provide relief and values her patients. 
Outside of the clinic, Tracy's an avid gardener and looks forward to more travel adventures with her family. 
Amanda Adams,
Location: Lynnwood

Amanda started with Concept Hand Therapy in 2006 as a Licensed Massage Practitioner. Working as an LMP in a clinical setting gave her the ability to use her skills in palpation, trigger point release, manual lymphatic drainage, and deep tissue work. Hand therapy also introduced her to new therapeutic modalities to incorporate into her treatment sessions. In 2014 she received her Associates Degree and became a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Her years of experience have provided her the opportunity and knowledge to work with a wide variety of patients. She enjoys having such a rewarding career where she can help a person heal and return to their meaningful activities after injury.
When Amanda is not treating patients she enjoys being a part of a cooking club, book club, and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband also enjoy running in a variety of themed 5K races to have a little fun, dress up in costume, and raise money for good causes.
Amy Lentz,
Location: Edmonds

Amy is a 1997 graduate of the University of Puget Sound’s Master of Physical Therapy program.  She is an APTA certified clinical instructor and has completed level III coursework through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.  She is a long standing member of APTA.  Amy has provided volunteer physical therapy services to a local ballet company in the past and currently with Cascade Elite Gymnastics.
Amy enjoys working with clients and athletes of all ages and fitness levels.  She has a special interest in the treatment of acute and postoperative shoulder and knee injuries.  
Her personal interests include hiking, soccer, skiing, surfing, coaching youth soccer, and spending time with her family.

Marcus Flexer,
Location: Edmonds 

Marc attended and graduated from the University of Washington with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008. Since graduation, Marc has continued his post-graduate training in manual therapy techniques for the spine and extremities through various orthopedic groups. Marc was certified as an Orthopedic Manual Therapist by the Ola Grimsby Institute in 2013. In 2016 he became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association's Sports and Orthopedic sections. Marc continually strives to learn and apply evidence-based practice in his treatment of: spinal injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation of the spine and extremities, sports specific injuries, and degenerative joint disorders.

Marc strives to give his patients the knowledge and tools to not only prevent future injuries, but also to reach their maximum potential, and exceed their expectations in whichever endeavor they may be returning to.

Outside of work, Marc loves to spend time in the mountains, or on the water with his wife Carrie. In the winter, he is an avid downhill and backcountry skier, and works part time for the Mt. Baker Ski Patrol. He also enjoys running, hiking, mountain biking, and climbing.
Shiri Krasner-Rosenstein,
Location: Mill Creek

Shiri earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 1985. Shiri became a Certified Myokinesthetic Practitioner in 2012.

Before joining Concept Therapy in 2016, Shiri worked at a variety of both outpatient and hospital settings. Shiri takes pride in listening to her patients and working with them as a team to help them reach their goals. Shiri’s areas of special interest include manual therapy, Myokinesthetic technique, and functional training.

When not working or working out at the gym, Shiri enjoys travelling, singing, baking, playing the flute, and being walked by her two Siberian Huskies.
